Hafele, leading company in the architectural accessories and hardware sector, is preparing to make a bold entry into the year 2024, celebrating its 100th anniversary. Hilmi Uytun, Executive Chairman of Hafele Turkey and the Region, stated in a press conference that they aim to open 80 new stores nationwide, strengthen their dealer network, and break sales records this year.
Uytun emphasized that they entered 2024 with new product categories and stated that the built-in product groups, bathroom and sanitary solutions, furniture lighting systems, and smart furniture hardware they introduced under the Häfele Concept 2.0 received great interest at the International Ceramic Bathroom Kitchen Fair last year.
Uytun stated that their goal is to open 80 new stores by the end of the year to reach the end users with all their products, and also announced that they will make nearly 15 additional dealer agreements in the cities where they are currently present for their existing hardware products. He stated that these steps aim to break a sales record this year by meeting the demand and expectations.
Uytun stated that they closed last year with record growth and expressed that this growth trend will continue to increase for the next five years. Uytun drew attention to the liveliness in hotel projects especially in recent times and emphasized that sales in hotel projects are rapidly increasing and they are expanding their market share.
Uytun stated that Hafele continues its work on micro living spaces and said that micro living styles have become popular after the pandemic and recent earthquakes. Uytun said that they took action with the slogan “More space for every square meter” and stated that they created ‘Häfele Concept Micro Living Spaces’ by collaborating with architects and manufacturers worldwide and inspired the industry. He added that they are proud to be the only brand that offers furniture and door hardware, sanitary products, and built-in appliances under the same roof in micro living spaces such as yachts, caravans, micro apartments, boat houses, and apart hotels.
Hafele’s ambitious plans are considered an exciting step towards further consolidating its strong position in the industry.
